    Intel Core i7 930 @ 4.2ghz ASUS P6X58D Premium

Does it is possible to bring the Intel Core i7 930 at 4.3 Ghz. This I found the highest frequency. Till now I had kept the cpu under some control and does not want to burn out my system. I had tried some settings and successfully kept the system at the frequency of 3. But going further that can be a risk. What you recommend for that. Need some basic help on the same.

The stability of your system depends on the latest BIOS support with good ventilation support provided in your system. Overclocking the system will be achieved by simply increasing the front side bus, remember to complete some high-end processors with unlocked multiplier up, the OC can also be realized by increasing the multiplier but it is an option that deliberately omit the assumption that those who go to buy a processor would not need to read these basic operating instructions.

The Core i7 is designed for overclocking and it works much stability on the frequency which you are looking for. Many owners of Core 2 Duo E8600 have already pushed the 45nm etching into a corner, easily exceeding the 4 GHz with simple coolers. It is clear from our discussions with Intel that Over speed Protection own the Core i7 has been implemented primarily as a security measure for servers, PCs and low-power wireless solutions.

Overclock a Core i7 requires more attention than the Core 2 Duo and Quad. The settings are many, and Intel has also integrated its new processors protection which lowers the multiplier when the processor's power consumption exceeds 130W, or requires more than 100A. It is possible with the motherboards on the market, with the exception of that of Intel, disable this option in the bios to be able to approach or take to the happiest, the bar even with a 4GHz Core i7 920.

The processor works with no issue at 4GHz. This is awesome cpu but one thing you must note down that your system must have proper ventilation support. Beginning at 133 MHz, 190 MHz machine starts up, or nearly 4 GHz. 1.525 V for Vcore, DRAM at 1.65 volts and 1.35 volts for the last QPI maximum voltages. I had a setup of Intel Core i7 and 4GB Ram support. I overclocked the processor from BIOS.

For your purposes it is essential to focus on internal FSB, which is given by the external FSB divided by 4. The core architecture processors with work depending on the model, with 3 different types of FSB. The frequency of the CPU will be given by the multiplier value for fsb processor, which means that processors that have higher multiplier will get more boost with less frequency increase fsb.

Intel's Core i7 supports a series of current games even at standard clock speeds and it has enough power for other work also. But you can simply derive more out of it by overclocking the same. The performance of your processor can depend on various factors like the CPU, the RAM, and ultimately from the motherboard. For overclocking this CPUs is very good.
