    BSEL for q6600 + MSI P35 Neo2 FR overclocking

Hello everyone I just found an article that deals bsel mod and I wanted to know whether or not will be useful for me I have an MSI P35 motherboard and a Intel Core 2 Quad processor. I also had 2GB RAM of G.skill and it is currently on a 3.2Ghz. I need some help with BSEL mod. I had performed overclocking a number of times and the system too works stable. But a bit modding can provide a much help.

You know that LGA 775 processors may get support at a higher system bus, but also to run with the supply voltage increased. Asus and Gigabyte motherboards can work with soon released e6x50 duo core 2 processor series with the system bus of 1333 MHz after updating the BIOS. But some present changes to the design of the motherboard will be satisfied only by updating the BIOS.

The BSEL mod claimed the duo e6300 (1.86 GHz) Core 2 processor, in support of normal mode the system carries only 1066 MHz and the maximum coefficient 7x. Closing those indicated in the figure by the red contacts the underside of the processor it was possible to induce this processor with the frequency of 1333 megahertz system to transport.

Processors that supports the motherboard with the needed frequency, the bus system has already been prepared using the updated BIOS. It is also possible to increase the overclock the bus system but as u see there is no special need for this change in hardware, since most motherboard can handle the frequency of 333 MHz system bus without problems.

The BSEL mod will push your processors default speed at a bit higher support. This same is done in a different way. You can do the same by connecting the pin towards the bottom part of the CPU. Also you must note down that the motherboard must have a higher FSB and boots fine. So that you can gain the speed and let your system to work in a stable way.

The objective is to increase system performance while maintaining stability and avoiding excessive stress components for this purpose should be carried out stress tests whose purpose is to verify system stability and not exceed certain levels of temperatures. Here I have a E2160 CPU and it has a 800mhz FSB and a 9x multiplayer. I am going to BSEL mod it so it has 1066MHz FSB, so i would simply connected the Corresponding pins for 1066mhz. This will now give the CPU a new 'default' speed, INSTEAD OF 200x9 = 1.8GHz it is now running 266x9 = 2.4Ghz.

Anyone can try the same mode and the same is actually limited to some motherboards. The same is reduced also due to limited overclocking option. You can check the same on systems like Dell. All You have to do now is connect the pins on the cover. BSEL & VID mods can Easily be reversed, if the copper tape is used just remove it.If conductive ink is used, use a high alcohol solution to remove it.
