As far as i know the fps on cs problem is not a bug. You can have 100 fps on your desktop just without any sort of problem you should only take care of the vertical synchronizing. Also check Why it just went ahead in the 3D parameter nvidia and why you were forced to disable vertical sync. This should definitely resolve the issue.

I am playing Counter Strike at 100 fps cs 1.6 with a Dell Inspiron 1720 - GeForce 8600 with Synchro deactivated,i am getting the maximum 101 fps in cs. We can switch the display from 60 hz to 100 hz, but I do not know yet if it is safe for the laptop. even if you Do not have a 100 fps counter strike is played for fun without any real progress.

I don't think that 100 Hz can change something, especially when it is clear that the PC does supports 60 Hz max. I play Counter strike under 60 fps and 100 fps, I think that just mouse sensitivity is what matters. We can, perhaps not see the difference between 60 fps and 100 fps, I'm inflectional endings, but playing for a month sensitivity 2 Counter strike at 60 fps, then i tried to play with the same sensitivity in 100 fps, You to should try to play with the same sensitivity, So that you will find that it has increased.
