Intel Core i7 930 vs Q9505 vs. AMD Phenom 965 vs. Keep E8400

I had build up own computer. At first I purchased Intel E8400 Core 2 Duo cpu. My motherboard is Nvidia XFX 790i and I am using right now 2GB RAM on it. My RAM has been burned out and for that I am going to add new 4GB RAM to my system. So here I have some doubts before changing ram and cpu cooler. I also want to upgrade my system. For that does Intel Q9505 processor is fine or I should keep the E8400. Another choice for the same is Intel Core i7 930 CPU. And then third things which I can opt for is AMD Phenom 965. What you recommend.

I am using Intel Core i7 CPU. It is a powerful processor and it represents the new generation of processors with great performance. The Intel Core i7-930 features Hyper-Threading to win up to 40% performance in all digital entertainment. It is ideal for all applications running in multitasking, the Intel Core i7-930 Intel saves up to 25% of speed compared to previous generation processors. Upgrade to this CPU.

I am using Intel Q9505 CPU here. I has came with E8400. The first is the Core 2 Quad Q9505 that is other than a Q9550 running at 2.83GHz, but with only half the L2 cache memory, ie a total of 6MB in comparison to the E8400. The rest of 95W TDP as the processors of the same family. In contrast, Intel is developing its range of Core i7 with the upcoming i7 960 clocked at 3.2GHz. If you can wait back then you can get some more options.

The CPU comparison is based on the system you are using for and its need. Like gaming or video editing or just basic office work. Then AMD Phenom X4 II 965 Black Edition is a single-clocked processor. It is new chip that is still etched in 45 nm, still has 758 million transistors and is based on the AM3. Recall in passing that AM3 is backward compatible and it is also possible to install a processor on a AM3 motherboard with socket AM2 +. It is a much powerful processor and cheaper alternative for Intel Core i7CPU.

I have AMD Phenom in my system. Each core has 512 KB of second level cache while the processor has a third level cache whose size is almost 6 MB total, the Phenom X4 965 II Black Edition has 8 MB cache . Faced with the previous model, the Phenom X4 965 II Black Edition retains the same revision of its core. However, its supply voltage is scaled up. It works best with DDR3 RAM.

In your case you must first wait back with your Intel E8400 CPU right now. Because it is possible that you will need to buy a GPU or upgrade your motherboard also. Then at that time you can choose a much higher version of processor. Other than this the AMD Phenom X4 965 II Black Edition is the best one for the time being. The latest AMDc CPU is compatible with DDR2 memory.

Intel E8400 at 3GHz is very reasonable processor. The performances are up slightly high up due to the Conroe generation and probably 6mb cache, but the same is now declining due to the latest applications. Other than this the cpu is enough powerful and it is accompanied by a very moderate heat and a pleasing overclocking. Not to waste anything the price is also very reasonable.

i7 has 8mb cache and direct 3d and advance direct 3d instructions which makes it very fast decoder and encoder .it has 8 threads it means eight powerful programs you can manage at a time this processor is the best for gaming and videos .
