Clock Rates of Geforce GTX 470

I have recently started studying hardware in chip level. And now I am learning about the clock rates of Geforce. I have heard that the Nvidia graphics card Geforce GTX 470 and GTX 480, based on the Fermi-architecture chip or per the GF100, new pictures, specs, prices and other benchmarks have emerged. I thought that you guys must be knowing more than me, so thought to take some help from you. Please provide some more information about the Clock Rates of Geforce GTX 470. Need your response as early as possible.

Re: Clock Rates of Geforce GTX 470

According to VR-Zone are the final specifications set: the GeForce GTX 470 Shader Multiprocessors goes to 14, the GeForce GTX 480 some more, ergo 15 - and not the theoretical 16th Consequently, using the smaller model 14 Polymorph engines, 56 TMUs and 448 ALUs, the top model Polymorph 15 engines, 60 TMUs and 480 ALUs. The core clock speeds, GDDR5 memory and ALUs are allegedly at 607/1.215/1.674 MHz (GeForce GTX 470) and 700/1.401/1.848 MHz (GeForce GTX 480).

You should also know about the Update from 16.03.2010 for clock rates of GeForce GTX 470. MYDRIVE want to clock speeds of the GeForce GTX 470 and GTX 480 have experienced the final. The company expects Yu-Wei, according to the GTX 470 with 600 MHz chip and 2.0 GHz memory clock, the GTX 480 with 600 or 625 MHz core clock. The memory clock also amounted to 2.0 GHz, GDDR5 chips are to be operated as opposed to the GTX 470 with 0.4 nanoseconds (instead of 0.5 nanoseconds) - this would also be possible to 2.5 GHz. The Hot-clock, respectively, the frequency of the ALUs and the TMUs (supposedly half-Hot-Clock) is missing, however - perhaps even more Nvidia polishes here to the correct values. In particular, the height of the shader clock is likely to significantly affect the GPU voltage Rohpower and the power consumption, making it one of the most exciting data.

Re: Clock Rates of Geforce GTX 470

If you believe the details of Shanebaxtor so Fermi Nvidia-based graphics cards only in early April in the dismissed trade and 26 March (and just in Q2 2010) organize a so-called Paper Launch: Selected partners will receive their Geforces directly from Nvidia in order to prevent leaks through the AIBS, even the driver could arrive just shortly before. And then when the cards on the market, it is loud BSoN full Fermi models be no: there you will have learned that the GeForce GTX 480 is not expected as the full accruing with 512 ALUs, but a SM with less, and thus only 480 ALUs.

In the forum of the Asian side of NGA are also pictures of the first Integrated heat spreader (IHS), the GeForce GTX 470 and GTX 480 turned up about it. Both are clearly labeled as A3-revisions, previous cards were only A2s. For the A3 revision is confirmed, this also means that previously leaked benchmarks are enjoying with A2 card with care - vary the speeds could. The detailed description on the IHS are GF100-275-GF100-375-A3 and A3, which is according to the measurements of Expreview 23 to 23 millimeters, ergo, the chip would measure 529 square millimeters.

Re: Clock Rates of Geforce GTX 470

Details of the Geforce GTX 470 and GTX 480 have experienced the TDP. The equipped with two 6-pin connectors GTX 470 consumes 225 watts, therefore, the GTX 480 with its whopping 6 +8- pin 298 watts. Both models are on order or under the minimum values that allow the PCI-E Specs. Usually, the real power moves in games, but significantly below the TPD, we (speculative!) Out of 180 respectively 250 watts. The models of the GTX 480 OC to the way up to 305 watts, according to TDP are increasing.

Re: Clock Rates of Geforce GTX 470

Apparently, Geforce GTX400 cards already on the way to the shelves of dealers. Sun boxes are pictures of Inno3D- surfaced , Geforce GTX 480 should contain some. Even the packaging of Palit GTX 470 and GTX 480 are in circulation. The Asian manufacturer Galaxy, known in this country under KFA ², announced on its website launch of the Fermi and shows the true image to fit a Geforce GTX 470th This is the first impression a Board partner of Nvidia - since the official NDA has not yet fallen, we can start from a leak.

Re: Clock Rates of Geforce GTX 470

Appeared to Nvidia's upcoming GF100-generation, the 400 models on the basis of Fermi-architecture, are again pictures and benchmarks. The date of the public arrived, coming from Nvidia and still be regarded as reliable values do not come, among others. They want an exclusive Geforce GTX have measured 470 at Cebit, the article mixes here but obviously data that Nvidia has sent its partners, we found with any own benchmarks - a question of PC Games Hardware in Nvidia that neither speeds nor driver in the might be used next GTX 470 could not be final.

Re: Clock Rates of Geforce GTX 470

Now in the forum of Expreview a Radeon HD 5870 and an unspecified designated Fermi card surfaced values. The Stalker-CoP values of the Cypress-accelerator for DirectX 11 coincide quite well with our measurements, according to the posting, the GF100 model virtually as fast. Model, speeds, and drivers, however, are unknown. The same applies to the Far Cry 2 benchmarks that the 2560 GTX 470 x 1600 Details and 8x MSAA at 41 fps Avg clear maximum before the HD 5870 at 33 fps Avg sees with. The shots you see in the gallery.

Re: Clock Rates of Geforce GTX 470

Price performance is really better and keeps Radeon long been the crown in hardware, which will probably not change. But with Nvidia you get for the extra cost just NEN better support and have to worry XY the game does not run properly because one may not be the Radeon cards. The criticism is not really ATI's fault, the developers mess it so often. Still, ATI's driver support obligations already fulfilled one or two times too often not reasonable, so I for the same performance even more happy to spend some € and I get an Nvidia card.
