    Is it possible to have more than 1.35 volt with msi afterburner?

    Hi,
    I am using MSI Afterburner it is working fine but I am having one doubt related to it. I just want to know is it possible to have more than 1.35 volt with MSI afterburner? Because at 1.35 volt my max stable is around 1075 MHz, at 1.375 volt it is around 1100MHz. I will be waiting for the related replies.

    Well I am not a expert related to this topic but according me you should not go for the voltage more than 1.35 volts with the MSI afterburner. To a software security guard band limit defined by MSI and you can not tweak / bypass it unless MSI decide to publish new version of Afterburner with extended boundaries.

    Try to close Afterburner, after that open your profile file with notepad (VEN_1002&DEV_9460&SUBSYS_80301462&REV_00&BUS_1&DE V _0&FN_0.cfg stored into .\Profiles subfolder into application folder), and add the following text to it:

    [Settings]
    VT1165_Defaults = 18 50 ( max=1,450v )

    Click on "reset" automatic increase voltage.

    According me not exactly the programmable voltage goes up to 1.35 volts, But it is not difficult to lie to the controller with a pull down or trim pot on the feedback on regulation circuitry. Now assuming the percentage boost it is not too much for the cooler to handle. Like + 0.1 volt.

    Afterburner is powered by own Rivatuner engine, but this software comes with a few extra's. AfterBurner will support both ATI and NVIDIA graphics cards, Voltage regulation on the GPU, overclocking on core, shader and memory domains, GPU load levels (ATI), fan speed adjustment, device information, and a really wicked graphical (configurable) monitor.
