    Xfx 5770 Bios

Hello, I need advice I wanted to take a 5850 but too expensive for the moment I was thinking back on a Vapor -X (for silent) or the HD 4890 1024MB but they had problems (compatibility with power supplies). Is this still the case? HD 5770 is to be quiet but will it be powerful enough to play on an 22 "1680 * 1050. Expecting that you can explain me more about the XFX 5770 BIOS. Hoping some help sooner.!!

The noise of fan A little bit expensive, 30 euros less would not hurt. And a bug in the original Bios (Update already available to fix it), O / C is "jumping" the image in 2D applications (hence the 4 in quality). The exceptions are looking at XFX and Asus mainly :
    • The XFX Black Edition & Co. are necessarily V1, factory overclocking is pathetic, it's not important.
    • The Asus are all stamped "Voltage Tweak" and thus limits much higher frequency in the bios. Interesting for a fool but you can overclock flash any card with the bios Asus ref.

There's no problem with the sore vaporx. I'd say that if you think playing games direct11 better start from the HD 5770. While talking about the XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB, I think that two of these critters in crossfire and you optenez performance of a HD5870. Plus you can mod the bios with that of Asus and MSI use the software Afterburner. Vcore 1.35 With my two cards running at 1GHz for the core and 1.4 GHz memory. 3dmarkVantage Total in GPUscore P15875.
