overclocking intel c2d e4600

as the title says, i'm trying to overclock my e4600 from 2.4 ghz to 3.00 ghz. here's my config

Intel Core2Duo E4600 (of course )
ASRock P43Twins1600
A-data 2 GB DDR-2 800
XFX nVidia 9600GT
Western Digital 250 GB

how should i do?

You want the processor to work at 3.00ghz to 2.4 ghz frequency, So to overclock the CPU to a higher frequency then it would be better to decrease the CPU multiplier. To change the multiplier you will have to go to BIOS Setup and go to FSB options in the 'frequency\voltage control' section.
