Overclocking tool for differnet types of Motherboards

    Hi,
Does different types of chipset need different types of overclocking software's. If yes then post some samples for the same. I have a Intel chipset. And in my other computers there are other models too. I need what types of overclocking software are used as per the hard ware settings. And also what about the compatibility settings. Thanks in advance.

ClockGen is a program will allow the happy owners of compatible motherboards (KT333 and NF2) to overclock their processor very easily go back in two mouse clicks and 3. It is free to download. But the issue is that you cannot rely on any tool for overclocking. This can fry your processor and damage critical parts. So just be careful.

8rdavcore (Nf2 only) is more complete ClockGen that he will play on most settings without even the need to reboot. Chance of settings more or less extensive following motherboards. The major issue lies with different overclocking utility is that they are sometime not compatible with the major hardwares. So you have to first check the compatibility part. For intel chipset SetFSB is a nice alternative ClockGen direct competitor, SetFSB is also effective in general and even more responsive and precise, test both and keep the best

NF2 Tweaker is a small software will allow owners happy nForce2 motherboards can change the timings of the memory without having to reboot. This software works fine with the nforce2 type of boards. It is quiet necessary that your hardware must match the software and it needs. Basically under overclocking the processor is put under pressure.

ClockGen NF3 and 4 is a software for nForce3 and 4 mobo and VIA K8. This small software will allow owners happy motherboard nForce3 or 4 very easy to overclock their processor in two go back and 3 mouse clicks, you can change the FSB, Vcore live if you're still in default Vcore in the bios and lower the multiplier. With A64 FX you can even increase the multiplier.

Small program in size but of astonishing power, without increasing any frequency, it makes impressive gains by reducing latency (timings) of memory, it allows access to certain settings unavailable in the bios of most motherboards. It is called as A64 Tweaker: This is nice but care should be taken before use. You have to check the same with others too.
