Overclocking E6300

Hello everyone, I have seen lots of useful technical posts by many smart people on this forum through searching on google, so I decided to join and ask for some help.

My cpu is Interl core2duo E6300, and people around me told me that it's stupid not to overclock this cpu, that this cpu is made to be overclocked, so I started searching for some guild that fits my computer spec.. but since I am not that great with computers, I found it hard to follow, and since overclocking is a risk taking, I didn't want to mess up my comp by just following some random guides.

So I'd appreciate it alot if someone on this forum who is good at overclocking could guide me through step by step.

It is possible to overclock your computer by using any third party tool. You can use RivaTuner. But things you will need to take care is that first your must have adequate powersupply. Overclocking can fry your processor out. RivaTuner is a easy to use to tool for overclocking. You can download the same from below link. The tool has user friendly settings. You can just simply use a bar to moving forward to overclock your processor. But that should be on your own risk. Read below for more information.
