The easiest way is to open up your computer case and there "should" be a sticker on the PSU that will tell you the make and rudimentary specs, Somewhere should be a code which is use to define the wattage of power supply if suppose X400 means 400 W supply.
A power supply unit (PSU) is the component that supplies power to the other components in a computer. You have to open up the computer cabinet and look at the Power supply unit itself. There is no other way. Computer power supplies are rated based on their maximum output power. Typical power ranges are from 300 W to 500 W (lower than 300 W for Small form factor systems).
To find out power supply wattage, Just take off one of the panels of your computer then look at the power supply and look for the input. it will tell you how much Watts it has. If there is information on power supply then visit dell website and enter you model number, they will give you specification of your desktop with power supply information.
Hey, the easiest way is to open up your computer case and check the sticker of the power supply. Somewhere should be a code of , for example, XXDX400. That 400 means, in most cases, that's a 400 W supply. Otherwise there is going to be another sticker with more detail specifications of the power supply. Check there.
Hope this helps.

I think yours is of 500 W. i am not sure about this but mine is also having the similar kind of code and my desktop engineer told me that it is of 500 W. I hope you are getting me.
