| Re: Increase FSB or CPU Multiplier
You can use SetFSB. SetFSB allows to change your computer's Front Side Bus (FSB) speed. List of supported board, please see Authors homepage for more details if needed: Intel 440BX 8xx 9xx G33/P35/X38/X58 5000X/5400X US15W ATI Xpress 3200 Intel Xpress X1200 [RS690M] RADEON IGP320 RADEON IGP350[ALI M1533] AMD AMD-760(VIA VT82C686/A/B) VIA KT266 - 600 K8T800(Pro) Pro133(A/T) Pro266 PT880Ultra VN800 VX700 SiS SiS645 SiS649 SiS651 SiS661 SiS662 SiS740 SiS746 SiS748 SiS756 SiS761GX ULi M1695[M1567] I like that setup SetFSB: "SetFSB.exe / autoinc / step: 2 / period: 60" SetFSB start, and every hour, FSB increase. If my FSB set to 300MHz at H 0, it will be: - 1 H: 302 MHz - M 2: 304 MHz - 3 H: 306 MHz .... - 10 H: 320 MHz Example, I want to increase my FSB automaticlly every 5 minutes by step of 10 MHz: "SetFSB.exe / autoinc / step: 5 / period: 10" In my examples, self SetFSB increase FSB but never stop alone. Maybe we need to add a last option: "SetFSB.exe / autoinc / step: 2 / period: 60 / maxstep: 10" maxstep: 10: Number of steps that SetFSB can do. SetFSB When do all steps, it stop the auto increment. |

Command Line Switch Options SetFSB Version 2.0.b.20c has the following Command Line Switch Options. -w [00-99]: Wait [sec] default = 10sec -s [000-999]: Set FSB [MHz] -i [00-99]: Increment [MHz] default = max -u [00-99]: 0 (default) = normal, 1 = high -b [0-1]: 0 (default) = normal, 1 = background [/ H60]-h [00-99]: hold [min.] -S300 / S300 This works both. |

| Re: Increase FSB or CPU Multiplier CPU operation speed = FSB frequency x CPU multiplier , Users tweak their systems either by increasing FSB frequency or CPU multiplier, which is usually locked for the Pentium 4 CPU when purchased of the shelf, greatly limiting your overclocking options.I have a amd athlon xp 1800 Palomino core on a Giga-Byte 7DXR has a maximum FSB of 150 and a multiplier of up to 12.5 last I look up 12.5x150 = 1875 Mhz. Suppose I have a amd athlon 2100 or 2200 purchase this work according to me in 1770 and 1800 Mhz |

| Re: Increase FSB or CPU Multiplier
your motherboard has a maximum number of mHz stable turns. The multiplier is determined by the processor. So I get the maximum multiplier of 12.5 is not quite. 2100 + (1733) and 2200 + (1800) works both with 133 FSB so mp of 13 or 13.5. They are unlocked (= you can change the multiplier) so you can easily clock. |
