Pentium E5400 have a high potential for overclock given their low base FSB (200 MHz) and low frequency. Pentium E5400 overclock quite easily to 3.2 GHz, then it must increase the vCore, and can be increased up to 3.4 GHz without changing the fan. You just need to avoid exceeding the 85 ° C in Core burn and does not exceed 1.4 V vCore under pain

Overclocking E5400 have problem it has highly limited FSB. And you can overclock everything, PCI bus, memory, North bridge, etc. Memory to the maximum speed 400 FSB setting should work fine, probably faster than your current setting, though you can try 400 * 8 to 3.2 GHz before proceeding.that can provide higher and different temperatures.

The motherboards today lock PCI and PCIe automatically at 33 and 100MHz regardless of the frequency of the FSB. But if they did not , then you just increased the PCI and PCIe frequency if you increase the FSB. In the time of socket 370 motherboards, most PCI and AGP lock still not quite on the same frequency remained. By motherboards of today who are not automatically lock PCI and PCIe will simply increase the frequency if you increased the FSB to the PC is doing strange due to high frequency of the PCI and PCIe.

    set memory
    in gpuz
    Dram frequency :
    FSBRAM :

can push up to 4ghz required good cooling with core voltage 1.320v
this e5400 is great overclocking cpu...
