Athlon 64 X2 7750 Black Edition Overclocking

Hello friends,

i am planing to overclock my AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Black Edition, seems to have been made to over clock. i have asus motherboard with HD 4650. please explain me how I should increase GHz and how I can go without extra cooling. for your information i am newbie in overclocking.

please help me

Being a Black Edition processor means that the CPU multiplier is unlocked, making it much easier to overclock. use AMD Overdrive tool to increase the multi and adjust the CPU voltage.you will reasonably reach to 3.2GHz which is a good Overclock.

using amd tool you will be able to able to reach was 3.3 GHz @ 1.4V, but for that You you need to downclock your ram using the multipliers back to 800mhz then up it too see how high it will go and stay stable otherwise your cpu will become unstable an would cause an instant crash.

With any Asus motherboard and better air cooled solution you can climb upto 3.3GHz for cores and 2.4GHz for northbridge. you can even reach 3.6GHz or more with conventional cooling solutions.
