    Overclock E6850 on P5N32Sli-Plus

    Hey Folks,

    I would like to know that how do i overclock E6850 on P5N32Sli-Plus. I'm having a Core 2 Duo machine. Does any body knows that how can i overclock my C2D system. Kindly provide me the correct logical solution for the above issue. Following are the specification that i'm using on my system.

    • P5N32-E Sli Plus
    • C2D E6850 (3.4 Ghz)
    • 3Giga Corsair XMS2 6400 C4DHX
    • SATA2 Barracuda 7200.11 500GB
    • Thermaltalk 750w
    • Leadtek GTX260
    • Zalman CNPS 7700 CU. XP Pro Sp3.

    Try to clear your setting by doing "CLRTC thing" on your pc by downgrading back to an older BIOS. Try to download the BIOS you have and then save it to a flash drive and afterwards try to upload the bios on the bootup.

    You can easily hit 3.0ghz with a E6850 but then again, you'll need a Tuniq Tower 120 at least, to keep those temperature down. Most motherboards with an Intel chipsets will OC it to that speed, specially a P35 chipset in the form of an ASUS P5K-Deluxe.

    Because you'd have to remember that Intel is packing 4 cores in the same CPU whereas there are only two cores in the C2Ds. So, Quad-Cores will definitely run hotter.
