    Hi Friends,

I have recently purchased Phenom x3 8750BE with the

My intentions when I picked up a Rampage Formula were to use Crucial Ballistic 1066 memory.
However, after much research I discovered that the Crucial sticks don't work properly with this board. Quite a few had good results with either Geil, or GSkill on this board.
I'm currently having excellent results with OCZ Reaper 1066 on this board - can
overclock the memory to 1133 stable @ 3.8GHz. on an X3350.

For proper temp measurements with 45nm processors, look into a program called "Real Temp".

If You want stable, overclock for 24/7 usage I suggest you to use unlocked multiplier for cores and L3/NB. First try to oc. your CPU without ACC - Advanced Clock Calibration. In many cases, with rev. B3, Black Edition CPU's, you will probably reach higher clock speed with ACC off. Of course, you must use FAN for your Thermaltake V1 cooler. Passive cooled solution for such extreme overclock (3.4 Ghz) with voltage massive voltage bump couldn't pass. Upper limit for core temperature at this frequency is 55º at load. Your CPU at 1.3v already reach 58º. For 3.4 Ghz you must raise voltage up to 1.5v.

It is a first generation Phenom and they are known to be slower chips but will still fulfill your needs. Your cpu voltage as far as I know, or is atleast linked to it. Hense they both went from 1.2 to 1.4. You could try pushing for 3.2 with your current setting raise your clocks to 3.2ghz and go and test it in 3dmark 06. Run the redvalley test if it fails go and bump your cpu voltage a tad bit. and try again until it doesnt fail. Once it is good in that go test it in orthos or prime. For you gpu get ati tool free download of the web, make sure most recent version and do the auto over clocking itl take it much higher then 690 on your gpu core. Also increase your gpu fan speeds 76c on load isnt bad but is a bit high. as for the fourth core the answer is no, that only worcks on the phenom 2x3 720's, and u need a biostar or asrock mobo, with outdated bios on them.

so quick revamp of what i said.

1- your cpu is mainly holding your system back.
2- ati tool for gpu and more tweaking with your cpu for to get to 3.2 use 3dmark as a first test for stability once stable in 3d mark go onto orthos or prime.
    3-simple straight answer no.
    4-increase fan speeds.
5- red valley is a cpu only render test. 1-2 fps is normal.
