    Advice needed on :-
    1) Motherboard
    2) Processor
    3) RAM
    4) Gaming Card

    n Mi8 b about Power supply too...

Rest things i m fine with.. Mine LCD wrking fine.. Keyborad n mice ..nt a issue ...

won't go for High end games. But i am a Counterstrike freak.
I heard that a Lower frequency processor (Like 2.0Ghz one) can Serve the purpose if we have got higer RAM with a Nice gaming MB with a Gaming crad on it ... no need to go for Higer end processor.... is it so ?

So All my fellow friends.... start firing out your suggestions

In case of Graphics Card is concern, go in for A Radeon from Powercolor ie Powercolor ATi Radeon 9800 pro(128 MB) or to save money go for powercolor ati radeon 9600XT bravo

You can also choose powercolor ati radeon 9800 pro 256 mb version. At a little more cost nearly 3000 more but I think at that cost go for an Gainward Geforce 5900XT golden sample which has high core and memory speed.

You can select the decent graphics card as per your budget from here:

Graphics Cards Price List in India

    XFX 8600GT 512MB DDR2 RS. 3400
and For mobo : MotherBoard Price List
Asus P5N MX Nvidia GeForce 7050 1333 FSB for 2375rs
It is nice and can play the all low graphics games, you no need to buy a graphic card for playing games like counterstrike series.

and 2 GB DDR2 RAM will cost max. 2k, and For purchasing processor you need to extend your budget from 1k to 2k.(Go for Intel Core to Duo 2.6 GHZ around 5.5k)
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (3.6GHz, 1.44v) with TR Ultra 120E,
    Gigabyte GA-EX38-DQ6 v1.1, 4GB G.Skill PI 1066 5-5-5-15 2.1v ,
    Powercolor ATI HD4870X2 2GB, 4x SATA2 500GB Samsung HDD RAID 10,
    Creative X-Fi, Dell 2408WFP A01 24" LCD,
    Acer P221w 22" LCD,
    Corsair HX-1000 Watt PSU,
    Vista 64-bit.

    Hi bhardu,

For the Graphic Card + Ram you will have to incur minimum 5,000 Rupees this includes your SD ram as you are having 5 yrs old PC.

Then comes to your Motherboard + processor it will again require 5,000+ Rupees ,so thing are like you have to increase you budget little more to have the good configuration pc.

Rest of the Graphic card ,motherboard price list has already mentioned in the above.
