AMD X4 9950 high idle temperature

    Hi,
A few days ago, I bought a new system
    Cooler Master Centurion 5 case
    Enermax pro82 + 525w
    Asus M3N78 Pro
    AMD x4 9950 Black Edition
    4GB Kingston ValueRam (DDR2 -800)
    Hitachi 750 GB
    and CLUB3D HD4830

For security I have installed Everest for temperatures to view. The CPU is no load (idle) about 50 degrees. If I 'm 5-minute stress with Everest, the temp just over 60. The motherboard remains about 38 degrees. Idle temp is this too high and what should I do?

Hopefully someone can give me some more information. i am Still fairly new to this area and sometimes quite lost in all the figures, voltages, etc., so all help is welcome.
I do to dead flowers what people at morgues do to dead people. Suck all the moisture out, dip them in plastic, paint them up pretty and put them in a nice frame.

Idle temp is not too high in itself, it will not pose any problems. But the cooler the better. However, a 9950BE is a sample with a TDP of 140W under full load. I do not know what that device should normally idle, but 50 C. .. I also believe that it is possible some fresher can.

Cool 'n Quiet to do it?
This setting is usually to check the BIOS Setup. Could the idle temp may decrease because your CPU to be switched back CnQ switches in voltage and clock speed when you can.

    Which OS are you turning?
What CPU cooler is on your CPU and you have already re-installed (and equipped with thermal paste versa)? How is the Airflow in your closet? 1 case fan? More? Tell also about anything

The temperature you're reporting are normal. if you going to overclock it, i would keep it in the safe zone at 30-40. The average temperature that a CPU can handle i would recommend if it is greater than like 63, i wouldnt risk it. i would say 55 and below is a safe.
