    Core 2 Duo E7400 overclocking?

    hi,
    i have MS P35 Neo-2 FIR,has someone experiences with this new CPU.whats the best way to overclock this cpu i dont want t take it to max overclock but somewhere midway would be good.

    It's probably the CPU case temperature, which I don't think is an actual measurement but just a calculation. Ignore that one. Coretemp or CPU-Z should give accurate temp readings, if you want to compare something to Everest.

    Do you have more than 400 FSB tried? RAM voltage increases? MCH voltage slightly increases? The correct timing or is somewhat defused? I could very well imagine that the more than 1.3 V needs to come to 4GHz. EIST and C1E off? What do you have so that it is not more than 1.3 V, BIOS updates on it?

    Overclocking is best done on a custom rig whose motherboards have overclocking options. Branded machines usually have most of the options locked. Try to find an option, which will, at the very least, allow you to change the bus speed and alter vcore voltage.
