Overclock ati 4870 sapphire

Hello to all.
what is the best program that I can overclock my ati hd 4870 shapphire? and fall in temperature and fan noise acceptable, until I can push it?

You can ask me then, after physically installing the Toxic HD4870 1Gb what are the best drivers to install? And what is the best program to manage the overclocking? I understand that the driver is best to keep those of the manufacturer (ie 9.3) and software for the Riva Tuner overclocking right?

The ATI Radeon HD 4870 is based on the long-awaited ATI RV770 GPU, which replaces the RV670 GPU that powered the disappointing ATI Radeon HD 3870 GPU. Both RV770 and the older RV670 are built on the same 55 nm fabrication process but that's where the similarity ends.

hi,
You might want to do some reading before you overclock anything... Those automatic OC..ing programs.. I dont trust at all. IMO its always better to do manually very slow and test.

You can OC your card by using the ATI Overdrive...In the CCC
