After bios update no more Overclocking

    hi,
i have updated my bios to 1.40 and i wanted the FSB back to 222 so that works out well, in the bios it shows now with "Processor Maximum Frequency 3108Mhz.but in windows it still shows 2.8 Ghz. Is that anything wrong in bios settings?
    my System: Motherboard: AsRock AOD790GX/128
    CPU: Phenom x4 II 920
    Windows Vista 64 Ultimate

Which program do you read from the clock, cpu-z? Or you simply look into the Windows indication? With me also shows Windows 3.6 Ghz, if I only drive 3.0 Ghz, but the Multi manually (9x333). If you have Cool 'n Quiet activate've taktet the CPU down, if nothing to do. Incidentally in AMD's no FSB, but a reference clock.

So the timing information from Windows, I would not trust, but rather as BIOS and cpu-z.

most likley you will need to bump up your voltages to the Vdimm and Vcore a tad sounds like your memory timings need to be adjusted.

I also noticed on the home screen always is only 2.8 Ghz, before the update because the OC was worth now, he remains at 2.8 so no matter how far I turn what can I do in the bios still set for more from out of my pc?
