    Need help Changing thermal paste

    Hello,

I have a small problem graphics card on my laptop for some time, it is a heating problem, because in fact when it is activated I can use my pc 2 hours without doing anything if I try a game c 30 min ....
So I use my pc without graphics card. I did not specify when the PC crashes the temperature of the card is greater than 100 ° C.

I at first cleaned the fan that has not really of great change, although it may be a dirty . So today I decided to disassemble the cooling system and I could see that the different type of thermal paste on the graphics card and the Processor was weak I mean by that can be that heating the pc it looks like dough melted. And it seems that the chip on the card a bit too warm.

I took some pictures but I do not know how inserted if possible.

I wanted to know what type of pulp used and whether it will be able to solve my problem?

    Some info on the temperature:

Without PC card at startup 55 ° C after 2 hours of use I is 68 ° c, which remains constant for some basic tasks with up to 80 ° c

PC card with the cpu is 80 see 85 ° C in games and therefore as I said above the GPU is at 100 ° c and then crash. I said that the drivers for the graphics card was not updated during the test.

thank you in advance for your reply.

Re: Need help Changing thermal paste

    It is indeed very hot.

Although it is a laptop and the laptop seems pretty appropriate to ask your question, i advise you to use OCZ Freeze. If you want to grab a few degrees temperature on your CPU, GPU, NB, etc ... Look no further, because you have what it takes before you.
