260 gtx 216 core power supply

260 gtx 216 core power supply

I want to have a gtx 260 216 core and a guy told me that the 500 watt power supply antec is not strong enough for this card ...Is this not enough for this ?

A hard drive 80 gig sata western
dvd E8400 cpu, 2 gig memory and the critical power is an antec 550 watt to 500 watts

The 260 GTX 500 w request at least 36 amp on 12 volt

The Antec 550 w 3 have 12 volt rails, which can provide a total amperage of between 54 amp and 69 amp depending on the model
