hi,
i have now assembled my computer (OS: Windows 7 Build 7000), Rest:
CPU: AMD Phenom X4 940 II Black Edition
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3
Ram: G. Skill DIMM Kit 4GB PC2-8000U CL5-5-5-15
Graka: Sapphire Radeon HD 4870, 1024MB GDDR5
PSU: Enermax MODU82 + 425W ATX 2.2
Does everything well so far quite well, apart from the CPU, which only about 2305 Mhz instead of 3000. The reason for this seems to be the multiplier of only 11.5 instead of 15 to be. On the mainboard is the BIOS version F2 installed, this list to see, I, however, that the 940 the BIOS version F4 requires, you will agree? If so, simply with the on the CD enclosed BIOS version F4.
Do I need any special driver for the Mobo to install? Lan seems to be working and when I use the driver from the gigabyte Page want to install comes error (probably because Win 7), which is not bad, because Lan also seems to work. Audio driver I do not need because I have X-Fi from Creative've VGA driver but I do not have the Catalyst 9.2 installed. Not because something is missing?
