    Overclocking E6600 P5B Deluxe

    New to overclocking, has P5B Deluxe, CPU E6600, 1024 X 2 Corsair PC 6400 CL5 last bios 1223
I Would like to know what the settings should I apply in the bios to 2.93 or 3000 MHz and preferring to touch people rather than make a stupid and be forced to go through a CMOS? I do not understand the history and timing do not know how to bring the RAM to 333 Mhz (1.1 ratio because mine goes up automatically when I go to the FSB and a frequency above 950 Mhz. I took an example that I found on the net but I'd like to have me explain to the manip mainly on memories.

Someone could tell me how do you change the ratio or quotient of memory because I'm currently 2880 Mhz instead of 2.40, (FSB 320 X 9) - FSB-2.3 DRAM - DRAM Frequency 480 MHz and to remain stable, I believe I need a 1.1 to FSB and DRAM DRAM Frequency to 333 Mhz. What are the parameters to change in bios to achieve these settings.
    Thank you to inform me
    Blessings to you

you must put your fsb a 333 up to 266 a 333 up your memory will also synchronize. Just when you go on the speed of memory to do more or less (+ or-) via the keypad to change the ratio of memory in relation to the fsb ...

So in 6400 with ram you should be able to put your fsb a 333 and run your rams well above .but you can always check by putting them in 1:1 that will give you 667 mghtz therefore for your memory while it's 800.
So in summary if you use a ratio fsb / ram 1:1 and you put your fsb your ram a 333 into 667 will cadence mghtz and will therefore be under clock compared to its rated speed.

The memory timings are in the advanced, chipset, northbridge. You have the timings by SPD puts you on manual and you come back your timings. For 333Mhz memory you have to play on the FSB and ratio available. For example you shall FSB 333, 333x9 therefore in the 3Ghz CPU and ram in 1:1

You wants to put 4-4-4-10 but it has 5 cases of the corsair so its not that I believe to 400mhz it is possible, is not is crucial.
