| OC P5Q-memory problem?
hi, i have Asus P5Q my Q9550 to 4GHz,Unfortunately I did not get even 400 FSB stable on the run! After more than 4 minutes to adopt the core 1 o'clock-2 o'clock in the glare test of Prime 95!! the other two cores but run more smoothly! The Kerntemps do not go above 50 ° C! Small FFTs run clean through, so it is not ever more on the CPU At 333 FSB the Blend test runs smoothly.I got the RAM already on the other two slots in, but also has not helped. Now I have only one module in it .... so ran the test, as above written, at least 4 minutes long. My BIOS settings, I just made another thread stole ... they are there for the 470th FSB ...... lower values, I have previously tried.previously I had a Gigabyte X38 board, after the board change, I have not reinstalled Windows because Vista no problems after the board makes change. Can the old installation problems? Why get only the same 2 core bug? Since the chipset is different (X38-> P45), I would have to recommend Windows themself. Perhaps because sparks from the old corpses driver chipset inside ...? CPU PLL to the second fixed value (1.52V) DRAM Voltage 1.9V (so 2.0V for the RAM arrives.) DRAM Static Read Control disabled Loadlin Calibration disabled AI Clock Twister erstmal to moderate AI Transaction booster disabled Timings manually (with CPU-Z under Windows and then enter the bios.) Is there a setting for performance level? If yes, first try 12, if it runs slowly down buttons. Are you sure that the 3.4GHz range for Vcore? |

Have now installed the Seven beta -> error itself ,The Vcore ranges ... they did with the old board tested. The Small FFTs run too easily. |

I have a P5Q-PRO with nem Q9550. And I also see the 4 GHz. Ai Tweaker Ai Overclock Tuner [Manual] CPU Ratio Setting [8.5] FSB Frequency [471] PCIE Frequency [100] FSB Strap to North Bridge [400] DRAM Frequency [DDR2-942MHz] DRAM Timing Control [Manual] - CAS # Latency [5 DRAM Clocks] - DRAM RAS # to CAS # Delay [5 DRAM Clocks] - DRAM RAS # Precharge [5 DRAM Clocks] - DRAM RAS # Activate to Precha [15 DRAM Clocks] DRAM Static Read Control [Disabled] DRAM Read Training [Disabled] MEM. | Re: OC P5Q-memory problem?
Hey, I have a very similar configuration here, same Q9550, 2x2gb ddr2 800mhz corsair xsm2, and an Asus P5Q mobo. I just canīt get my FBS at 400 and my memory just go as far as 874mhz at 1.92v. The CPU temperature is at 49C. It would be better if I lower the latency? Thanks! |
