| 4 Gb DDR2 Ram , GDDR3 Geforce 9500 XFX Gt and Xp 64-bit All Compatible ?
I will soon buy My first pc in Spare part and Assemble it my Self and I wondered if my memory Which ddr2 ram Of 4 Gb will be compatible with my video card memory which is GDDR3 geforce9500 xfx gt. and the last thing to go with my super future machine I want xp64 Bit installed for the graphics, but there seems to be quite high and a low related to operating system. and if there is tutorial to mount and configure my future machine, leave me a link. thank you a lot in advance and waiting For your Reply |

Hello ,The type of embedded memory on a graphics card does not affect the Ram memory. You can also have DDR2 on the motherboard or DDR4 and DDR5 on graphics card. Careful to take against a motherboard that supports DDR2. For XP64 is that you see ... it depends on the applications compatible or Not it is Not related to hardware Compatibility |

Yup the the type of Video RAM you have has no relation to the Type of System Memory you have. They are 2 completely separate things Make sure you have the latest driver installed. ATI releases updates every month or so for most of their cards. I have an AGP card, too (Radeon X1650 Pro), and it hasn’t caused me any major problems. However in the past few days I thought it had died out on me when, for some reason, the rightmost pin of the connector for the power cable overheated and left burn marks. I ended up reducing some of my memory settings that overclocked my system a bit to the default setting and haven’t had any issues with it since. |
