E8600 upto 4 ghz but how far can I go?

my vCore currently 1.30 allows me to mount till that. I am already on a 4.00 ghz and wonder if I can rise above? How? it's just for an estimate but I doubt that it is possible that I'll have to test it? I know that getting started with an4.85 ghz then the vCore must be of 1.65 and in idle temp of 85 degrees! yet to start as a 5 ghz should I change my fan ...
To the rational mind there can be no offense,
    no obscenity, no blasphemy,
but only information of greater or lesser
    value.

I can not answer for the max frequency because each cpu is different. For the max vCore being given that this is a 45nm cpu burn in at a 1.45 V.
And if you have the intel rad then yes for the 5 Ghz it will change.

4.5GHz should be easy for E8600.
With 1.35Vcore at BIOS, it stables at 4.5GHz easy.
try to tweak your mobo a bit.
bump up ur nb voltage to 1.55V, if you use full bank memory then more than that. I'm using 1.63V NB right now.
you know you've made it big on here when you have your own imposter

You want to disable speedstep, C1E and/or EIST in BIOS. They are power saving features that are unnecessary when testing your overclock. Once you get a stable overclock established then if you want you can re-enable them.
