    Cooling Fan Warning Alarm

    hi there ..........
i have just bought a new Scythe Ninja 2 cpu cooler and a Noctua NF-P12 fan because my cpu keeps over heating a lot, and from then an unsudden alarm keep going on. Everything installed fine, but when I turned the computer
on, the alarm immediately started going on.

can anyone provide me some suggestion regarding it?

    Re: Cooling Fan Warning Alarm

Alternating low and high frequency beeps like an ambulance siren is a sign that the CPU fan is faulty. The alarm is sent off by the motherboard when it senses that the rotation of the CPU fan has dipped below the threshold level.

To fix this type of an error, first remove the Cooling fan as indicated in the quick setup guide which came with your fan.

Brush off the dust settled on the blades of the fans if there and the fins. Use a toothbrush if needed.

Connect the fan cable to the connector on the motherboard and your system will be back on track.

    or

else show it to the person from where you bought it and explain him the entire story............

    Re: Cooling Fan Warning Alarm

Either the fan is going out or the motherboards fan power port is about to fail. Motherboards are supposed to shut the beep if the fan works properly so there would be worries about motherboard to be faulty.
