    Setting GPU Fan

My CPU fan is such a part into pieces such that it makes noise when it comes under a certain speed.

It has annoyed me over the long and now I have to decide to force the fan to run at 80-100% constantly. I know that its life will be reduced, but am willing to sacrifice ...

I have seen little RivaTuner but has no encapsulates. A manual explain how I unlock the GPU fan to 80-100 percent would be fine. I read on, but it describes some features are not available in my RivaTuner.

Are you sure you have latest version of rivatuner?

In this case, when you open rivatuner press here

So would like to pop a box appearing with five icons, press the first named system settings.
So would like to doll up a new window

So just do as the sign then, that is only
1: Select "fan" up to the above.
    2: Now select "direct control"
3: Set the slider to 90
4: Set checkbox in fan settings apply to windows startup
    5: OK

So it should be happy to run with 90% all the time.
Have some of this functionality you have?

It resets itself to 25% as soon as I hit "Apply"
I tried the version you suggest and report back. I did exactly what you describe.

As I could see in there you do not have the latest graphics driver? Just try to enter the nvidia page and download the very latest, and a newer rivatuner if you do not have the latest.

EDIT: Okay, you were fastest .. But I have so just found out I actually run with 2:11 rivatuner, you can try an older version and see if that is where the problem lies.

Has updated GPU driver and running now with: GeForce ForceWare 180.60 XP (32 bit)

It works fine but my fan is still kicking up the stubborn beast. Inside are all RivaTuner Fan -> Driver-level fan control settings now to 100% across the board. It just does not try just Rivatuner 2.11

CCleaner drove straight for the record. If there is something that conflicts, it is nice to have a grip on. Now RivaTuner 2.11 and now "Fan Tab" is away, install 2.20 again. It stipulates also that my GPU is not supported.

Have you downloaded the 180.60 on nvidia's own website? as far as I know, it's still a beta version, said the latest stable version is 179.xx so it is quite clear I would recommend them. But it sounds good enough a mystery. If they are 100% but it is not running 100%, it must of course be the fan is broken?

My logic tells me that the program does not take effect.
When I play demanding games, the heat runs up.
