Hello I want my overcklock sempron 2400 + to pass 1666mghz a 2000mghz but I do not know how to do it with a minimum of risk for my graphics card and my ram
Hello,
You can spend your FSB 166MHz to 200MHz, for against your RAM is not certified PC3200 (200MHz). There may be concern for operation.
On the other hand, what is the current operating temperature of your CPU? It must not be too high.
My CPU temperature is 40 to 55 in normal and full loads unfortunately I have a 2700 which means that I may have a problem but it may be worth the cost to go ddr3200 .
I have the same motherboard that you and my 9600 XT graphics card is worn like a charm with the FSB to 200MHz frequency nominal.
As for your RAM, you should try to move the FSB to 200MHz and a memory test with Memtest before you buy memory.
In fact, your RAM is Dual-DDR? If this is not the case, you can also improve performance by passing.
