    MSI P45D3 Platinum

One of our fellow has a question about coverclocking his PC.

Can only help? With your help and expertise the job will be done even better.
The problem is that the system is not the 3.66GHz. Photos of the bios are uploaded.

    Specs:
    Intel E8400 (Scythe Infinity Mugen)
    OCZ DDR3-PC8500
    MSI P45D3 Platinum
    Saphire Radeon HD4870 512MB

What timing would you recommend for ram? Remember that the memory will be for playing (4x 1GB DDR3).
    In addition, EIST off.

Test the max memory, just a high divider set will fsb quiet and push everything.
I would even go max FSB testing, so a low multiplier and a large FSB.

What is your real vCore? 1.34 V, etc.? Did you just about 1.5 V of the set up and see whether you read, that would be best to 1.35 V (theory) is just too little. Test as Lorenz suggested you, max FSB and max Mem.

Already tried latest bios? (The non-EFI version)
Also the strap jumper put at 400?

And also try another divider for the memory and FSB max low multi Set on 101 and PCIe EIST off.

Edit: That sounds very strange but perhaps you can also try tighter memory timings.

    Timing are 7-7-7-21
    memory is 4 x 1gb OCZ DDR3 PC3-8500 Gold Edition 1066.
What is wrong with 4 times 1 gb DDR3?

Heavier for the memory controller which also could cause problems for Overclock.
