    Problem after overclocking HD3850

After overclock my graphics card which is a HD 3850 512MB ASUS, when I start a game for example call of duty 4 and the game crashes back to the office gives me an error message signed ATI message is: VPU Recover. has reset your graphics accelerator as it was no longer responding to graphics driver commands.
I wish to clarify that overclock a 730 / 930 I did not have this problem, I would also like to say that the GPU overclocking limit imposed by the pilots were up to 730 Mhz. I tried to finish in 5 call of duty, but it makes me the same message.
The most overlooked advantage to owning a computer is that if they foul up there's no law against wacking them around a little.

VPU recover points out that you have exceeded the maximum frequency that officially support your card, it is within its limits, that's all. Remains at an O / C lighter or will transfer the ATi drivers.

In fact if I understand you have exceeded the limits imposed by CCC which were 730Mhz for the GPU and you're up to 820 (not bad tell me ^ ^). It is normal that CCC wants to retrieve your card he fears for his health.

Note that it is never HD3850 and if it is the Asus model we see on the picture, it has an improved cooling (Glaciator called it).

It's not too much with the temperature (unless you have an oven) 820c good but poorly already.

In fact already test 800Mhz (always be the O / C by small level) to see.
