Without hesitation You choose Asus P5Q-Pro .Because See Gigabyte means it supports both the DDR2 as the DDR3 Ram and it supports RAID. Otherwise the EP45-DS3 is interesting to compare the P5Q-Pro but it no longer exists. Note that Gigabyte renews its range and that the new motherboards are UD3. Overall these are 2 good cards (Gigabyte attention to problems of incompatibility with the G. Skill ram), the only difference may be the price (if you take the DS3 single) and if you have the utility P5Q-Pro manages the Crossfire. Level o / c it's the same thing. Anyway these cards are excellent for the entry level but they do not o / c crossfire cards and high-end ...

If you want an Asus which manages the DDR II and III, took the P5Q-C, but the P5Q pro a better cooling

for me EP-45c-DS3R because a little cheaper than the p5Q-Pro and supporting DDR3: it is too expensive, Otherwise, support RAID is rather important for you to 2-3 DD S-ATA

The usefulness of DDR3 on a socket 775 is zero ... These take the DDR2 PC8500 I also had the same dilemma that you, I finally made the Pro P5Q because it has a better cooling and anyway it is all that is DS3R ... But really for DDR3 is not worth it, except for a core i7 it does that with DDR3
