Can overclock GeForce 9500GT?

Hello, I am a novice in the area of Overclock. Always had fear of burining some component while overclock. After I saw the topic of overclocking a GeForce 9600GT, causing incredible increase in performance of the video card, I wonder how and whether it is valid to a overclock my GeForce 9500GT.

Alguns data: GeForce 9500GT, GDDR3, 512MB, and 550MHz clocked graphic 1.4Ghz.

I have a 8600GT and I can play better after applying overclock to it. I think it pays to do you make an Overclock there, but makes desperate only when you need a better performance (Most times when you will play it).

First Drive upgrade version of its VGA to 180.84 that will have a gain in performance.
Use the program EVGA Precision v: 1.3.3
It's just to register that will receive an e-mail activation. You con then download. (In my e-mail takes longer to reach, Hotmail was faster here.)

Here use 15% overclock but test with 10% first. Do not know which one is recommended, but here the VGA reaches 76 while playing, so I prefer not to risk further over.

In the most is that, going over the testing, an issue of stability, temperature and performance.

I clocked my 9500GT card with nice results :-)
These cards seems very acceptable for overclocking:-)
Make sure your GPU core temp is below 80/85 degrees celcius at
peak loads and you should be fine!
