Problem Pentium 4 HT 630 Processor

    Hi guys, I have a Desktop Asus model A4S-Q002h equipped with a Pentium 4 HT 630 Processor, 3.00 GHz Socket LGA775, 2MB L2 Cache/800 MHz FSB,2*1 GB DDR2 667,160 GB SATA,500 GB Data Transfer.

Today I started CPU-Z and the thing that leaves me perplexed is the clock that is equal to 2793 MHz.
If and only if you start a laborious process (for example, create a compressed folder with WinRAR) then the clock up to 2992 MHz.

I remember that long ago the value was still stable on 2992 MHz, but now no.

Someone could tell me if it is normal?

    Regards!

Please, try to recollect the system from the previous system Restore point. To overclock the system properly follow the Efficient overclocking guide for the Pentium 4 HT 630 Processor.
