    CPU multiplier problem

Hello, I'm now on Windows Vista Ultimate and I wanted to verify the frequency of my CPU.
I realized then that the coef would vary as it appears from 6 to 9 ...
    then eventually to stabilize 6 is 6 * 334 = 2.05Ghz: confused:
    My CPU: Intel E8500 OC nn (9 * 334 = 3.12)

So is it a problem of my CPU? or a bug -cpuZ compatibility with vista? knowing that in XP everything is normal

You do not worry, this is normal, it is called SpeedStep.
When your processor does nothing it reduced its frequency, and the vcore, history to save energy.
If you launched an application, it will resume its normal cruising speed.

Could be a Bios update to fix that...
