    Fan noise GECUBE 3870

I would like to replace the fan to the graphics card (GECUBE 3870/512) but do not know what works best, the original sounds like a threshing machinery ...

Changed the cooler on my 3870 to a Accelero S1, a big fan cooler, which received good reviews. It seems, unfortunately, not available in storage somewhere, so it will be enough to wait a few weeks.

My Power Color 3870 does not sound much, but the fan has a ticking sound irritating when the rest of the system is so quiet.

I couldn't wait for Accelero S1 to be available so I took a little more expensive Zalman VF1000 and run the fan at lowest speed (5V). There was silence while the cooling was improved. I put the card's own memory coolers remain and bothered me not even to add on new Cooling Paste when the person remained at the graphics chip was of the fluid type and had been applied with vixen dimensions. The result was excellent and above memory can be over-much more now that it blows air too.

As usual, was Zalman-cooler easy to install and original cooler was also easy to get loss. At a closer look at the original, it has a completely okay construction if it just were not for the fan cacophony.
