I have just purchased a beautiful old Acer F6 stationary. I can easily get into the BIOS but under-frequency control is an option which says something with attitude, I just can not change anything. Nothing happens by pressing enter or something, and there are some other options in there, but I can press F9 and then rate up to 4.99 GHz, but when I enter the windows is changed to anything? The card is an Acer EC51GM, and the CPU is a P4 531 3 GHz.

Anyone know how to overclock such a board? Or, how to 'unlock' option in the frequency control?

It is not a unique one which only made for just about it. So you may be able to flash the "original" bios and thereby get all the original options.

YES or is it also possible to create a Bsel to take some time, however, I can remember a small program called CPUFSB.
You can overclock with but you can not give more power to the cpu and etc.
