need help in overclocking 8800gt video card

I need to know how far the temp for 8800gt would be not good that i dont want see if i want to overlclock the 8800gt? And what are the soft-voltmods that cannot be judged to understand on how to perform? What i want to know is if artifacting is caused by temps, or temperature is different that you have to watch out for as well as artifacting?

This cards can go upto about 90c that i can think of.

Let me make it clear for you. Temps & artifacting go together & also in speed. Artifacts are when info is sent by the video card that comes with error when sent. This is either cause by not proper overclock or due to video card overheating.

Some video card models can be Bios flashed to 1.1v. What is your video card model?

Right, so heating is the first problem?

Ok, so if i have a moderate cooling on my video card, which time should check my temps as they might be most likely a bit high?

The first enemy in any pc is the heat but gpu tend to handle more heat than the cpu & most of the 8800 card run at 48c at idle to 90 at load.
