can't downgrade from windows Vista to XP
i brought a new Toshiba laptop model number Satellite A200-1LA PSAE6E-07y..., it is fantastic but when i turned it one it loads vista , really i hate vista, it slows down the system and I am using these machine for development, so this environment is a not a proper environment(Vista) for development, long story short, when i tried to install the Xp, at the blue screen the hard drive partitions didn't appear and it seems that they are not accessible, i read in many site that these partitions want a drivers so that i can access them.
If any one can know any thing may help me please tell me where i can find these SATA drivers and how can i use them, and if i can find all the drivers of this machine on Xp?
yes, the error in in the blue screen is :
setup didn't find any had drive installed in your computer:
here is the problem exactly, and this is one of the old solution but it didn't work i tried it just wasting a time,
if any one have any solution please tell me,
There's little to gain from having a laptop hard drive in SATA mode. If you look in the BIOS you should see an option to either get it out of "AHCI" mode, or get it into legacy mode or IDE mode. Unless you have some very specific reason, you want to select this option. 'Legacy' mode for hard drives is fine.
