Exclamation Installing home edition on a media center computer.

I currently have a dell inspiron 1200 with windows xp media center edition. I am trying to use a program called pro tools for recording music but the software's website states that it doesn't support the media edition drivers. Im thinking that my only option now is to somehow install windows xp home edition on my computer but i want to do this as cheap as possible. Also i found a xp home edition re-installation cd on amazon for 40 bucks, with the product license key. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to install home edition onto my computer.

    Thnks

well, You just have to put the cd & choose the drive on which you want to install the OS & follow the next procedure in there. Also, there are many guides on installing windows xp that you can search on google.
