Long Delay On Right Click - Vista x64
Hi, I have a rather perplexing problem that I've spent hours Googling, but the only references I found refer to XP & the fixes don't work for Vista. Whenever I right click on a file, folder or shortcuts such as "Computer" or "Network", there's a long delay before the menu appears. It usually spins it's wheels for 15-30 secs, sometimes longer. The menu appears immediately when right clicking on a blank spot on the desktop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! ~ Qube |

Hi, I finally managed to fix it by deleting a key in the registry. It was by trial & error to figure out which key it was. In case anyone else has a similar problem, I deleted a key in this section: HKCR\Folder\shellex\contextmenuhandlers ***Be sure you back up that section before editing*** ~ Qube |
