question auupdate.exe

Hi,
I am wanting to start MSN EXPLORER, however I need <auupdate.exe> I am running Windows XP/SP2. Each time I go to settings/add and remove I am told to get it, but I don't know how. Could anyone help please....thanks

You might try running the command "sfc /scannow" to replace missing or damaged system files. If you're asked for your installation disk (since you don't have one,) cancel and go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ , select "custom install" and see what updates are available.
