Bluescreen on Windows 8 after Norton Ghost recovery

I had made a system image of Windows 8 through Norton Ghost. I had upgraded my system from Windows 7 to Windows 8. After that I made this recovery file so that in case of any issue I can restore things back. But I am getting a blue-screen error. I am not able to figure out the cause behind this. How to find what thing in my pc is causing this crash and how to get rid of it.

You will have to first locate the file or application which is causing the crash. You can find the details about that in Event Viewer. Just go in that and check out the latest error code. You will have to click on that and you can find error description. If possible post that entire description here and you will get a proper solution. It looks some old files is causing the problem.

It happens that after upgrade old drivers or old applications in your system cause the issue. The best thing recommended is always format your pc and install windows from scratch. There are minimum chances that upgrade would work. Go in Control Panel > Uninstall Program and get rid of all unwanted programs from your system. That will help you more in fixing the issue.

Bluescreen is associated with damage system files and corrupt system memory. For system file you can run sfc /scannow in cmd. This will scan the pc for damage system file and fix it. While for ram you can run memtest. It is a bootable memory scanner which will scan your ram and will notify whether you are have a corrupt memory stick or not.
