I had not yet able to find new distro which are working on Debian 7. But surely waiting for some final results which can give me a more proper and stable platform. New package support does not really matters, but what requires is a stable environment.

Re: What is new in Debain 7.0

The new packages which are available in Wheezy is Apache, Asterik, Gimp, new Gnome, Gnu compiler, etc. There are many things but all are new and update. So obviously due to this the operating platform will be more reliable and stable. It will work cooler compare to the older series. If you require a stable platform that offer you more straight in terms of computing and advance app support then switching to Wheezy is not a bad idea. The new version provides a really broad package selection which is more than enough. OS running on this new one are capable of advance web development also. Like running server, database, storage server are just a piece of cake here. I am really happy to see this new edition. I thought the new edition is going to take really long time to finally appear in the market. But it surely came out. If you are still on Debian 6.0 then you just have to upgrade it. There is no need to switch the OS here. The version is still under testing. So if you find any bug or anything you can report that. Many says that this new version will be stable and will be cool enough to work on server level.
