Tools to automatically optimize Windows performance on boot

My system is very slow on boot. It takes hours to get on desktop. But when I kill some application through task manager it gets back to normal. I am looking for some kind of tune up software which can simple increase the boot time. There must be some kind of auto killer app that can kill unwanted stuff on boot. I had seen many things working in Task Manager. It is time consuming to kill them one by one.

The best thing you can do is simply remove application from startup. That would be more better in fixing the issue. You can find applications in msconfig which loads on startup. This is quiet easy to fix. Remove all unwanted application from your system. Which is also another way of boosting your systems boot time.

Re: Tools to automatically optimize Windows performance on boot

I do not think relying on third party tools will be effective. The best thing you can do here is simply check your system bootup stuff. You can go in msconfig and remove all applications which are configured to start on boot. That will increase the boot time. Somehow I think whatever you do, as time goes on Windows gets slow. I am having a laptop and in that I just ordered a new SSD. That is a portable drive with fast output. After adding that I had see that my system works really well. The SSD offers me 64GB of space and all my data is kept in my secondary 500Gb drive. Spending on new hardware is more worth than spending on a software. Because if the entire system performance is affected then the software will also work slow. There is nothing you can do in that. You can go on web and order a good ssd which is great enough to give you great performance where it does not matter what amount of apps you are running.

Still I think there are some good software which are capable of keeping your system good in terms of performance. To use them adding a physical ram is good. I have 4GB ram and I am using Advanced System Optimizer on my system. That works fine.

Re: Tools to automatically optimize Windows performance on boot

System utilizer just does the same thing that we do manually. Like disk cleanup, defrag, cleaning startup, etc. It does not completely clean your system or make it fast in terms of performance. Windows gets slows down due to number of reasons. First is applications. Ample of time updates, applications, games, etc adds more and more file on your hard drive that reduce the systems performance. I was so annoyed with slow system. That is reason I got a new one which has the latest Intel Core i3 processor with 4GB RAM and 1GB dedicated video memory. This setup is far more better compare to what I was having before. It is faster and good in all terms. While compare to that my old system was having dual core cpu. SSD is a good choice, but it is a costly upgrade. I am thinking to get one.

Try TuneUp Utilities. It has many features to keep your system good in terms of output. It is also a very lightweight application and work fine. There is no performance issue with the software.
