by using snipping tool how to keep pdf window open in Windows 8

I wanted to know about a way on how to use Snipping Tool in Windows 8 with an open Pdf file? When I am opening the PDF file in my computer, then I also want to open the snipping tool like an application or open it in my toolbar. But the pdf will close immediately and I am only getting the snipping tool box on my desktop. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks

You can try to open the Snipping Tool from the Windows 8 Start Screen and the just type the word "snip" and press enter to open it. After that you need to press the esc key and then switch back to your Windows 8 Start Screen Windows 8 app. Now try to press PrntScr button to use snipping tool to capture part of your Windows 8 start screen or Windows 8 app. Now open pdf and see if both remains open or not.

You should know that the Snipping tool wont work with the Store apps. So, what you can do is simply take a full screen shot and then load that image in the Photo Viewer and use the Snipping Tool from there. Now, if you want to take a screenshot in a Store app, then press the Windows keys + Print Screen and it will take the screenshot and automatically place the image in the C:\Users\your name\My Pictures\Screenshots folder.

Even I had the same problem and I followed the solution that you have mentioned in this thread. I also found out that if we can screenshot another program like Photo Viewer or some other program to crop the image what I need, then also it will work fine. The snipping tool is the same in Windows 8 but a little complicated to use.
