Error Code 0xc0000001 installing Windows 8

I am having a Acer Netbook which dont have any CD/DVD drive. It came pre-installed with Windows 8 but since there are few problems i want to re-install the operating system again. Hence i created a bootable USB drive to install Win8 on this netbook. During the installation at a stage the setup quits with the following error message:

Your PC needs to be repaired
    File : \windows\system32\boot\winload.exe
    Error Code 0xc0000001
I tried running the setup several times but received the same error message every time. I have no idea left to fix this problem. Hope anyone here can help me out.

Well this is a well known error in Windows 8. Many users have already faced the same. Here are the steps to get rid of the same and get your working windows back:
    • Restart your computer.
    • Just after Bios screen, keep tapping Shift + F8 key. This will take you to recovery screen
    • Here click on “See advanced repair options”
    • Now click "Troubleshoot" > then click "Advanced Options"
    • Now from the next window click “Windows Startup Settings”
    • Now click on "Restart" and let Windows do its job.

Once done your system will start automatically and hopefully there wont be any problem.

The error code ‘0xc0000001’ refers to Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) in Windows 8. This could happen due to several reasons but most probably it occurs because of Driver issues. But thankfully in Windows 8, it’s easier to fix the problem compared to earlier windows versions. You just need to follow the steps mentioned above by mesterio.
