It is not possible. Microsoft has always deal with its propriety operating system. They will enhance it and will make it more better than Android. But there are very rare chances that they will think of changing the current mobile operating system and going for entirely different one. What I think that you get that idea after watching what Blackberry did recently. They are planing to release android smartphones but yet no models are finally provided. But Microsoft has different markets. They will not give up with Windows OS. They will surely add some features which will compete Android and iOS. You had seen surface tablet. They are on Windows 8 and offer clean and faster interface. Microsoft will provide its product for Android making more compatible. Windows itself is a great operating system that has ample of features and support. Nokia on the same has give a dual platform to its user. There are Windows based phone as well as Android. While iOS lies in entirely different category of rich features and interface. What I found that after Android introduce, it has gain lot more over other operating systems. |

It is the choice of users what they want. It is not right that everyone in the world loves Android only. Depends on the taste and usage people buy the best they need. They go for anything. |

What I know is Microsoft will not go for Android operating system. There are reasons for the same. First of all Android is open source. No one can buy it and says, it is their property and charge people. Open source offers free tools. While Microsoft most of the product are commercial. There into business to sale and provide enhance devices. Microsoft might try to optimize its operating system to stand against Android, but that would take time. Compare to iOS you can see Android is cheaper and better. It does not gives you exclusive features of iOS but mostly a replica. Now in this world a maximum number of population will not buy iPhone for Rs.45,000. And compared to that you can get good Android smartphone with similar features under Rs.1000/-. It will not be perfect but enough for usage. You get a awesome touch interface, voice support and tons of free applications. That is what users usually look for, a cheaper material with many features. Cheaper does not means that low in quality or poor body, but a mid range phone which should be good in look and easy to operate. |

That is right actually. Even I was thinking to buy a smartphone and will not go for 45k product. But compared to that for me a good android phone under 12K is quiet enough. |

Windows Phone means you are going to get a phone that runs on Windows phone OS. Windows has done a lot more changes to its existing operating system adding it more features and benefits. There are many reasons to buy windows phone. Just have a look on features of Nokia Lumnia. The price of phone is around 23K. That is half of iPhone. If you need a smartphone that fits better between feature and performance then you must check it. Whatever smartphone that goes above 20K is rich in features does not matter if it is Android, Windows or iOS. W hy people buy Android is there are ample of free applications for that. They love games and ample of stuff provided on it. But you are not aware that in coming time maximum Android phones will be affected with malware. You cannot assume it as a safe platform for your confidential information. Just recently I heard news that tons of phones are already infected with malware that is going to steal peoples information. So will you go for banking transaction or send confidential email from your platform which is vulnerable to such stuff. |

From Security point of view Android is unsafe. It is good fun loving phone, but if we talk about business then you have to do a wise choice. Blackberry is one of the best phones that I found under security concern. |

Yes Blackberry phones are great. They are meant for business purpose, but on the same Windows phone do comes with security support. If a platform has tons of applications support and that too free over web then anyone can make it and insert a malicious code inside that. While windows phone comes with a features called as data encryption. This feature protects your data. If you are using any freeware application that has a malware and you are not aware then you do not need to worry if it is Windows phone. The OS is designed in such a way that your data remains encrypted. There are number of methods used here. |

Microsoft will never go for Android OS. Even if they are thinking to do the same, it is quiet complicated to secure the phone entirely. People are having bad habit of downloading new stuff on their phone and test it out. This affects the phone reliability. Another thing that is famous on android is rooting. A normal user can use some tools and root the phone making it more vulnerable to such infections. While such stuff is not available for Windows phone. And no one will like to overwrite the phone operating system. |

We can hope something in future. Because if Microsoft, comes with Android then you can assume what amount market they will target. iOS on the other hand will lie seperately with exclusive features only. |
